About the Role

Are you a creative nanny who loves the outdoors? Do you enjoy a dynamic work environment where you have lots of variety in your role? In this part-time permanent position, the successful candidate will be caring for two girls, ages 10 months and 5 years. If you are a confident self-starter and ready for a new challenge then this could be a great job for you.

The role will be based in East York (O’Connor Dr & Woodbine Ave). The working hours will be daytime weekdays, 3 or 4 days per week. The schedule is flexible, and the family is willing to consider the candidates’ preferences when setting the working days and hours. Once set, the hours will mostly remain the same from week to week.

The ideal nanny for this role is someone who is loving and personable with the children, while remaining consistent and firm with boundaries and expectations. Adaptability in this role is a must! This position will be fluid, with demands and responsibilities changing in accordance with the needs of the family.

Ideally the successful candidate will have a valid driver’s license, but this is not a requirement. Additional responsibilities in this role will include meal prep, helping the family with their laundry, cleaning dishes and light tidying while the children are napping or eating. The nanny may also be expected to help with dropping off and picking up the older girl from school. The successful candidate will be expected to clean as they go and maintain good hygienic/sanitation practices. On occasion the mother may have the opportunity to take a break from her work and spend time with her children, at which point the nanny would focus their attention on the household tasks.

To be considered for this role, you should be experienced in working with children in the same age group, have glowing references and a strong employment track record.

Role Type

Part-time permanent, 3-4 full days per week.  Once agreed to, the schedule will be consistent each week.

Days of Work

Weekday, daytime. 3 or 4 full days per week. Exact schedule is flexible, depending on the successful candidate’s preferences.

Compensation

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for 10-month-old and 5-year-old girls
  • Assist in school drop-offs and pick-ups for the 5-year-old using the family vehicle
  • Maintain a clean environment while you work
  • Engage with children in creative activities
  • Regularly take the children outside
  • Support with meal prep at lunch
  • Help the family with household responsibilities, including laundry, dishes and light tidying

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children in similar age ranges
  • Certified in First Aid and CPR (or willing to get certifications prior to start of the role)
  • Cleared Vulnerable Sector check (or willing to get one prior to start of the role)
  • Willing to take proper COVID precautions.
  • Vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated.
  • Non-smoker
  • At least 3 VERY solid references
  • Valid driver’s license

About the Role

Do you have experience with infants? Are you patient, responsible and mature? Looking for a full-time, permanent nanny for a 3-month-old girl in Alliston. This role will be 3-4 days per week, Monday – Friday from 8:30AM – 5PM.

In this role, your primary responsibility would be to care for the baby girl. The father works from home in a separate area and the mother is home occasionally. Other responsibilities include tasks related to the baby, such as preparing bottles and doing the baby’s laundry, and light tidying as your schedule allows.

No previous nanny experience is required, but you must have experience with infants!

About the Role

Looking for a part-time, permanent nanny for a 7-month-old girl near Leaside in midtown Toronto. This role will be 2-3 days per week between Monday – Friday.

Do you have at least 1 year of experience working with babies? In this role, your primary responsibility would be to care for the baby girl while the parents work from home in an office separate from the nursery. Other responsibilities include tasks related to the baby, such as preparing bottles and doing the baby’s laundry. You will not be responsible for household cleaning in this role.

The family is taking very strict precautions with COVID. They are committed to maintaining strict protocol in the house to protect you as well as their family. They will wear masks while you are working there, and ask that you do the same.

The parents are keen to treat the nanny well so they are happy to stay. They are willing to consider some flexibility in the role’s hours to suit the applicant’s needs.

We are looking for a caring and honest live-in nanny who has newborn experience and is willing to jump in and help where needed. About the Role

Our client is looking for a nanny for their 1-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl. The role will be based in Bloor West Village, just steps away from Jane Station. The working hours will be Mondays – Fridays, from 8AM – 6PM, giving you 47.5 hours per week (weekly overtime!).

The family can be described as social and outgoing, and they are looking for a nanny who will become an extension of their family. They have high expectations for themselves and their nanny, and need someone who can confidently step into the role and excel with minimal direction. The successful nanny for this role will be able to strike a great balance of being firm with being empathetic. They should also have a good understanding of child development and be focused on strengthening and empowering the children so they can grow into confident and resilient adults.

In addition to caring for the children, the responsibilities in this role will include picking up and dropping off the daughter child from school (about a 10-minute walk), support with meal prep, making balanced and nutritious meals for the children, cleaning dishes and light tidying while the children are napping or eating. They should have a strong focus on positive reinforcement, and being able to patiently explain to children at their level rather than taking an authoritative approach. The nanny will drop off and pick up the older girl from school (about a 10 minute walk) and spend much of the day caring specifically for the younger girl.
